We’re excited to announce that our bike classes are back in session! We offer a wide array of offerings to cater to riders at different levels of their cycling journey. We’re kicking off with an E-Bike Class on March 14, a City Cycling Class on March 18, and a True Beginners Class on March 19.
1. True Beginners Class
Our True Beginners classes cover the cycling basics, such as the ABC check, balancing, pedaling, and gaining comfort and confidence as a rider. From children to adults and seniors, we can provide cycling education to anyone for free, in public classes at Washington Park. They are offered monthly from March to November, so make sure to mark your calendars and keep an eye out for them.
If you’d like us to partner with your organization, we can also take our true beginner classes to your location as long as you provide your own bikes or meet us at Washington Park, where we have bikes available. Contact Israel at [email protected] for partnership inquiries.
2. City Cycling Class
Our City Cycling classes are for participants who know how to ride a bike but want to gain confidence riding in an urban city environment. In this class, you’ll learn more about how to safely navigate Atlanta’s bike lanes and roads as a cyclist.
To anyone seeking a partnership with their organization, we can host a city cycling class at any location as long as participants are able to bring their own bike. Contact Israel at [email protected] for partnership inquiries.

3. Get There By Bike Class
Our Get There By Bike Class is our commuter offering that provides participants with a guided route and instruction to a destination of their choice, such as a grocery store, library, or school. We only offer these classes upon request — if your organization is interested, you can reach out to Israel at [email protected]. Similar to the City Cycling class, we can have these classes anywhere as long as participants bring their own bikes.

4. E-Bike Class
With another round of the E-Bike Rebate Program having been approved, we’re excited to once again offer E-Bike classes! These classes are meant for participants who have riding experience but want to gain confidence riding on an e-bike. We do not provide e-bikes for this class, but we typically try to host them at or near an e-bike rental shop.
Our first class will be hosted in partnership with The BeltHub! They’re offering a special discount rate of $10 per hour for an e-bike rental and a $200 e-bike voucher for class participants!
