E-Bike Class with The BELT Hub
Ready to transform your commute? Join our e-bike classes to learn to ride e-bikes confidently and safely! Our e-bike classes are open to participants 18 and older.
What You'll Learn:
- E-Bike Battery Safety: Learn best practices to safely charge and store your e-bike's battery.
- Safe Cycling: Learn how to ride an e-bike on roads and trails while sharing space with cars, pedestrians, and other cyclists.
- Basic Bike Maintenance: Learn the ABC Quick Check and basic maintenance tips to ensure your e-bike is safe and ready to ride.

What to Expect:
This class is hosted in partnership with The BELT Hub and will be held at their West Midtown location. Participants are welcome to bring their own e-bikes to the class or rent from The BELT Hub for a discounted class price of $10 per hour.
If you plan to rent an e-bike, please arrive 30 minutes earlier to fill out paperwork and get fitted for an e-bike.
Please note that these classes are for participants 18+ only. Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that only those who can definitely attend RSVP. Please update your RSVP as soon as possible if a conflict arises. Thank you!

Whether you want to learn how to ride a bike, cycle Atlanta’s city streets like a pro, or engage your group in bike safety skills, we’ve got a class for you. Each class is led by a League Cycling Instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists.
You can RSVP for any class below, or click the buttons above to view more details and RSVP for a particular class. Attendance at any class conducted by Propel ATL indicates your agreement to our liability waiver.

City Cycling

This free class will teach you to safely take on Atlanta’s city streets on two wheels and discover the joys of cycling safely in an urban environment. If you want to bring more of the joy of biking into your everyday life and expand the places you can bike to safely, then this class is for you.
Key skills you will learn: positioning yourself on the road for optimal safety, scanning in order to merge, signaling to turn, stop, or slow, avoiding road hazards, anticipating and responding to driver behavior, and more.

True Beginners

Come learn how to ride a bike!
Our free True Beginners class is for adults who don’t know how to ride and want to gain confidence on two wheels.
This class will teach you to…
- Balance
- Start and stop
- Shift gears
- Scan the environment while pedaling
…And leave empowered and ready to ride for fun, fitness, and commuting!
Equipment: Bring your own helmet. We have bikes you can use, although we recommend bringing your bike since it is best to learn to ride on the bike you will be using the most.
