One of our priorities last year was to make e-bikes more affordable so more Atlantans could take advantage of these life-changing vehicles. Today the City of Atlanta approved a $1 Million e-bike instant rebate program. 

This program, administered by the Atlanta Regional Commission, sets aside 75% of the rebates for folks earning 80% or less of the Atlanta region’s median household income.



Why e-bikes?

E-bikes offer a meaningful solution to many of our city’s transportation challenges, particularly for people who are burdened by the high cost of owning a car. Plus, e-bikes increase access to transit by making it easier and faster to reach a train station or bus stop. And a cargo e-bike can be used to haul kids safely to school or run errands, making life easier for families.

Propel ATL is excited to provide outreach and education for this program, to make sure everyone who would benefit has an opportunity to apply, focusing on communities most in need.
