This free class will teach you to safely take on Atlanta’s city streets on two wheels and discover the joys of cycling safely in an urban environment. If you want to bring more of the joy of biking into your everyday life and expand the places you can bike to safely, then this class is for you.
Key skills you will learn: positioning yourself on the road for optimal safety, scanning in order to merge, signaling to turn, stop, or slow, avoiding road hazards, anticipating and responding to driver behavior, and more.

Are you ready to start commuting and exploring the city by bike? Join our City Cycling class to build confidence riding your bike as a form of transportation!
This class is designed for those who already know how to ride a bike, but want to boost their knowledge and skills to navigate Georgia Tech campus by bike.
We ask that all participants bring a helmet for safety.

• Road rules (bike as a vehicle)

• What to carry
Advanced skills
• Scanning over the shoulder

Please note that for participants under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany them throughout the entire class.
