City Cycling

Are you ready to start commuting and exploring the city by bike? Join our City Cycling class to build confidence riding your bike as a form of transportation!

This class is designed for those who already know how to ride a bike, but want to boost their knowledge and skills to navigate city streets on a bicycle.

There are a VERY limited number of adult bikes available to borrow for the class, but if you have a bike, please bring it! We ask that all participants bring a helmet for safety.

If you need to borrow a bike or helmet for this class, please let me know before class at [email protected]

Throughout these classes, we'll cover:

• Helmet fit - two finger rule

• Know your bike

• Bike safety – ABC Quick Check

Safety essentials

• Road rules (bike as a vehicle)

• Safe riding practices

• What to carry

Advanced skills

Please note that for participants under 18, a parent or guardian must accompany them throughout the entire class.
