Background

Are you a database ace with a passion for pedaling the city? The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is seeking a ninja of digital environments to help us strengthen the link between our IRL actions and our online communities.

The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition is making Atlanta better by bike. We envision a city where bicycling is a safe and convenient form of everyday transportation, where people of all ages and communities have access to a connected network of safe bikeways. We see bicycling as a tool for community building, personal and public health and transportation equity.

Roles & responsibilities

The Digital Communities Coordinator will contribute significantly to the generation of financial and social resources for the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition by

  • Improving, establishing and implementing the processes by which digital records of engagement with donors, members, volunteers and other supporters are maintained

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing and fulfillment of volunteer engagements and membership and donor deliverables

  • Growing the organization's network of supporters through digital means

  • Enriching the quality of digital engagement with current, prospective and past supporters and measuring the outcomes of engagement activities

  • Leveraging the capabilities of the CRM (currently NationBuilder) and integrated applications to support the organization’s advocacy and fundraising endeavors and to enhance their impact

  • Delivering applicable and timely data analysis to inform and measure engagement practices

  • Recommending technology and relevant organizational practices to improve efficiencies

  • Providing technical support and training to staff and volunteers as needed

  • Organized and analytical, with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently on multiple projects while remaining detail-oriented

  • Ability to advise organization on best practice and cutting-edge online organizing strategies

 Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but equivalent experience considered

  • Two years experience in an office environment
