The evening opened with a fireside chat featuring Jonathan Hunt, Interim CEO/GM of MARTA, and Courtney English, Chief of Staff for the Mayor of Atlanta. From audits and funding to service reliability and project delivery, they discussed the city’s priorities for expanding and improving transit infrastructure and service.

The conversation continued with a panel of community voices from Georgia STAND-UP, Beltline Rail Now, and Better Atlanta Transit, highlighting the importance of equitable, accessible, and connected transportation for all Atlantans. The final discussion included representatives from CobbLinc and the Gwinnett County Transit, who shared future plans for suburban transit and responded to requests for regional coordination.

Together, the panels underscored a shared vision: a more reliable, inclusive, and sustainable transit system that supports Atlanta’s growth and connects communities across the region.
