Family Ride Bike Angel

This is a very important role for an experienced cyclist. Ride with the participants along one of the two routes and be available to respond to mechanical needs, route questions, and provide basic rider support. Relay en-route communications and concerns to Ride Director. Demonstrate group riding skills such as calling out turns, hazards and signaling, and safely navigating intersections. Volunteers in this group should be able to change a bike tube and assist with basic repairs such as seat adjustments, etc. You will carry extra water bottles and snacks that we provide as well as your own basic repair toolkit (10 total).

Ride Description:

Enjoy a casual ride to enjoy one of the best new parks that the city has to offer.

This family ride is meant for beginners that wants to learn more about biking in the city and opportunities that the Atlanta BeltLine will continue to provide.  Enjoy riding at a slow pace with minimal hills. Kids under the age of 10 ride for FREE.
