Atlanta Streets Alive is about celebrating community, activating our streets and re-imagining our public spaces! It's about highlighting local businesses/organizations, fostering civic pride, and getting Atlanta active.
One of the key features of Atlanta Streets Alive are activities to get participants moving, grooving, and making! And our activity partners and business partners help make that happen! At Sunday's Atlanta Streets Alive Highland+, we have activities spread out across the route, but be sure to head to Boulevard Ave., a.k.a. "Activity Row"!
Check out these 6 must-see activities along the route:
1. Time travel back to the Middle Ages, thanks to our friends at the Barony of South Downs In their little corner of Atlanta Streets Alive, you can see live armored combat with rattan weapons, historical fencing, historical recreations of music, dance, food, and handcrafts (such as spinning, leatherwork, bookbinding, calligraphy and illumination, etc).

2. Zumba your way into ASA! Our activity partner MD_Wellness will be hosting Zumba fitness classes throughout the event. Bring your good energy and get ready to rock!
- Location: Boulevard (near Highland)
3. Come watch the crazy basketball antics of the Harlem Wizards at 3 p.m. sharp! They'll be dribbling, shooting, and dunking in style. You want want to miss this!
4. Things are going to be heating up on Highland with glassblowing demonstrations from Janke Glass Studio.

5. Prepare to unleash your inner ninja! Ninja Quest Fitness will be hosting parkour basics workshops and Ninja Warrior obstacles similar to the show “American Ninja Warrior”!
