Focused Community Strategies in Atlanta, GATactical Urbanism Workshop 2024
Does your neighborhood want to reduce speeding? Would you like to create new community spaces or add public art to streets? We are excited to invite you to our workshop dedicated to improving the look and feel of neighborhood streets around Atlanta. During this session, the Atlanta Department of City Planning (DCP) & Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will be share a presentation on tactical urbanism and be ready to answer all your questions to help turn project ideas into reality.
Check out the Tactical Urbanism website to learn how simple, community-driven changes can significantly slow down traffic and deter unnecessary car passages through our streets, making them safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and children. Let's dream of new ways to transform our community, from creative crosswalks to pop-up bike lanes and green spaces.
