Building on 2023’s success
Last year’s inaugural roundtable brought residents and policymakers together to discuss Atlanta's transportation challenges. Councilmembers including Council President Doug Shipman and Transportation Committee chair Amir Farokhi, as well as Jason Dozier, Dustin Hillis, Antonio Lewis, and Matt Westmoreland shed new light on key issues. As reported by Atlanta Civic Circle, topics included the challenges in carrying out major transit plans, budget constraints, staffing shortages, and the progress of projects like the More MARTA expansion and the DeKalb Avenue Safety Improvement Project. These insights set the stage for this year's focus on actionable goals and community engagement.
