Here are three things you can do to to help make streets safer and better connected this month.
1. Let’s celebrate! Construction is underway on Memorial Drive’s new bike/scoot lane. Thanks to everyone who helped advocate for it to be physically separated from cars: our efforts paid off! This new segment connects Pearl Street in Reynoldstown to Trinity Avenue Downtown, where 2023 advocacy efforts resulted in new separated bike/scoot lanes.
2. Let’s mobilize: Attend the Monroe Dr Complete Street meeting this Thursday, July 11 at 5:30 pm. Residents are organizing to advocate for safety improvement through this long-awaited project.
3. Let’s comment: July 13 is the last day to submit your comments on the South Boulevard Complete Street project! If you want the bike/scoot lane proposed in the project to be separated from cars, please make sure to mention that in your comment.
