Help us end traffic violence in Atlanta

No one should die trying to get somewhere. No one should risk life-altering injuries or emotional distress just to navigate our streets.

Help make a difference. Share our soon-to-come crash report with your elected officials to raise awareness of traffic violence or make a year-end gift to support our work. Join us as we push for meaningful change.

Support Atlanta Families for Safe Streets with a Year-End Gift

Amidst our sadness and anger in this traffic violence epidemic, we also find hope.

Together, we can make a difference by amplifying the voices of those impacted by traffic violence—survivors and families alike—and calling on our elected and appointed officials to enact meaningful change. We'll advocate for metro Atlanta to adopt Vision Zero and design safer streets that prevent crashes and save lives. In 2025, we will create Atlanta Families for Safe Streets (AFSS), joining the national movement to turn tragedies into advocacy for safer streets. Support Propel ATL as we work to eliminate traffic. Your donation can save lives.

Crash Report

Stay tuned for Propel ATL's new crash report coming in early December 2024.

The new story map will provide key geographic, demographic, and storytelling context for Atlanta pedestrian traffic deaths. It will also highlight the human lives behind the statistics and share recommendations for making our roads safer spaces for everyone. This year, we will include the powerful stories of three traffic violence survivors pictured above: Satya, Veronica, and Geoving. In the meantime, track the Atlanta Department of Transportation’s progress towards Vision Zero, a systems-based approach to eliminating all traffic fatalities and serious injuries through safer street design, speed management, and other proven strategies.
